MultiProFit

MultiProFit is a high-performance galaxy model fitting tool under development mainly for use in the Rubin Science Pipelines. Originally an expansion of pyprofit, it is now a completely separate Python package with pybind11-based wrappers over a C++ image generation library. It is currently designed for fast and accurate evaluation of Gaussian mixtures models (including an approximate Sersic profile) with analytic convolution and gradient evaluation, with limited support for evaluation of GalSim-based profiles.
